Dedicated
remote load cell series - 8 capacities from 250 grams to 1000 pounds.
The DFGS-R dedicated remote load
cell gauge offers the same operation, and output/interface features
of the DFGS Integral
load cell force gauge with the added versatility of a remote cell.
These force gauges gauges are suitable for applications where space
or environmental factors will not permit the use of a regular gauge.
Each dedicated cell and corresponding gauge electronics are factory
matched and calibrated to provide the same accuracy as the integral
cell models: ±0.15% of full scale, ± least significant count.
The remote load cell interfaces
with the gauge electronics via a detachable coiled cable. The 50
lb through 1000 lb cells are standard "S" beam design
with threaded holes at the top and bottom on center for mounting
in either tension or compression applications. The 250 gram,
2 pound and 10 pound cells are a different configuration and are
encased in a small aluminum box for handling protection. The
smaller cells incorporate a threaded shaft for applying tensile
strength or compression force. A threaded hole in the load
cell case (opposite the shaft) is provided for mounting the lighter
capacity remote cells.
